Tiger of Sweden Munich: Boutique & Showroom
Our concept for Tiger of Sweden’s new boutique and showroom in Munich began with a challenge: how to design a space that reflects the fashion house’s identity while working within the constraints of an industrial shell in Schwabing Tor. The result is a spatial dialogue between exposed structure and refined detail—where raw concrete meets warm materials, and modern tailoring finds a fitting architectural counterpart.
Brief
Tiger of Sweden’s refined Scandinavian aesthetic called for a space that felt both grounded and sophisticated. Working with the building’s exposed concrete framework, we focused on:
Creating an inviting, material-rich boutique that plays with contrast—industrial structure meets organic warmth.
Designing a showroom that echoes the boutique but shifts toward professional utility and gathering.
Custom furniture that balances weight and lightness, using looping silhouettes and steel frameworks to add rhythm to the space.
Architecture & Design
Every architectural decision reinforces the experience of a brand rooted in craft, geometry, and clarity.
A Material Conversation – Earthy cotto tiles and dark woods offset the rawness of the building, creating a welcoming and harmonious feel. Bespoke Elements – From brushed steel shelving to soft wood counters, every piece is tailored to the space.
A Dual Narrative – The store and the adjacent showroom complement one another: the boutique invites, the showroom hosts.
Innovation & Technique
Industrial Meets Tailored – Materials are chosen to echo the brand’s fashion ethos: precise, minimal, tactile.
Furniture as Form – Tables, counters, and shelving are conceived as sculptural elements, with looping shapes and clean lines.
Showroom Flow – The layout encourages movement, conversation, and ease, supporting both client interactions and creative exchange.
The Experience
There’s a quiet assurance to the Tiger of Sweden boutique in Munich. It’s not about flash or noise, but about presence. The space is calm, rational, and clearly defined—just like the garments it showcases. Step into the showroom next door, and that same clarity takes on a more social role: a place to gather, present, and collaborate. Together, the two spaces form a holistic experience of the brand—rooted in geometry, driven by materiality, and elevated by intention.
