Brief

As part of our ongoing collaboration with GANNI, this store continues a design dialogue that has unfolded across cities and contexts. Here, the brief was to craft a space that balances Parisian elegance with GANNI’s warm, human character – a setting that feels refined without losing its accessibility, and expressive without excess.

Architecture & Design

Materiality

Spray-concrete walls form a raw yet controlled backdrop, giving the space a sculptural precision. An essential – though never boring – backdrop for furniture pieces that echo Copenhagen’s design heritage and  bring balance, clarity, and warmth.

Atmosphere

Wooden accents, warm tones, and sisal carpets soften the architectural lines, adding texture and a sense of grounded comfort. The palette stays gentle and tactile, allowing light and material to define the mood.

Spatial Experience

The ground floor unfolds gradually, revealing the full GANNI collection in a flow that feels intuitive and unforced. Zones are defined by category — ready-to-wear, shoes, bags — yet remain fluid, connected by material consistency and warm lighting. A circular staircase introduces a sculptural moment, leading upward to a more private world.

Details

Vases, small design objects, and artworks by Anna Kras add character without disrupting the clarity of the environment, reinforcing GANNI’s connection to contemporary creativity and cultural playfulness.

VIP Area — First Floor

At the top of the stairs, the atmosphere shifts into a generous and welcoming lounge. This intimate space is designed for a slower pace — calm, personal, and comfortable — a setting for deeper engagement with the collection and the brand.

The Experience

GANNI Rue François 1er is a study in contrast and coherence: raw concrete and warm wood, Parisian calm and Copenhagen ease, intimacy and openness. A space that feels grounded, generous, and quietly sophisticated and  a natural evolution in the design language we’ve developed together.
