GANNI – Amsterdam
Located on Amsterdam’s PC Hooftstraat – one of the city’s most dynamic and stimulating retail streets – GANNI Amsterdam offers a moment of calm amidst movement. The interior stands in deliberate contrast to its surroundings: a quiet, monochromatic landscape where balance, warmth, and coherence replace noise and distraction.
Brief
Our collaboration with GANNI has evolved over time – a dialogue of design and identity unfolding across continents. From pop-inspired exuberance to a more grounded maturity, each project marks a chapter in that shared evolution.
Amsterdam represents the latest season in this journey: a quieter, more measured language that retains GANNI’s warmth and awareness while translating them into calm, refined spatial form.
Architecture & Design
A Continuous Space
The project unfolds as one uninterrupted volume – calm and coherent, yet quietly immersive.
Material and light flow evenly, guiding visitors naturally through the space.
Spatial Transitions
At the far end, a distinctive threshold marks a shift in tone and atmosphere.
Its material contrast introduces intimacy, creating a slower, more tactile experience that encourages connection with the collection.
Material Language
Soft natural tones, warm lighting, and simple, honest materials define the palette.
This restrained approach reduces visual noise, celebrating clarity, texture, and the rhythm of the objects within.
The Experience
Rather than a single visual impact, the experience unfolds gradually.
From openness to intimacy, from neutral calm to soft warmth – the space invites visitors to slow down and engage differently.
Warm, subtle, coherent – GANNI Amsterdam is a study in balance between presence and restraint.
