Alexander Wang – Tianjin, Florentia Village
One of the first outlet concepts for Alexander Wang, this store trades minimalism for immersion. Set within Florentia Village, it delivers a high-impact, full-saturation experience, with every surface steeped in vivid red – loud, sensual, high-gloss. Walls, floors, and structures are wrapped in the same vivid tone, turning the entire interior into a charged, monochrome experience. Corrugated paneling adds rhythm and texture, catching the light and casting shadows that shift as you move. Linear LEDs in a ceiling grid provide clean, even light, while mirrored surfaces bounce reflections throughout the space, distorting edges and amplifying scale. Unlike the open plans of Wang’s flagship stores, this space moves differently – partitioned, maze-like, with a rhythm that invites exploration. Each segment reveals itself in sequence, building tension as you move deeper.
The experience is bold, theatrical, and charged with energy. Not just a space for retail, but a stage for the brand’s more rebellious, expressive side.
