Alexander Wang – Shanghai Qiantan

A high-gloss, high-tech space in the heart of Shanghai’s Qiantan district, this store pushes Alexander Wang’s visual language into something sleek, minimal, and utterly futuristic. The walls double as LED screens, flooding the interior with shifting light and motion—more digital landscape than traditional backdrop. Fixtures and structural elements are clad in polished metal and mirrored surfaces, creating a clean, continuous reflection across the space.

The layout is geometric and symmetrical, gallery-like in its restraint. Minimal clothing racks let the architecture lead, while recessed linear ceiling lights sharpen the edges and keep the visual field clean. Polished stainless steel columns add rhythm and weight, grounding the space without interrupting it. It’s precise, deliberate, and fully immersive—retail as projection, reflection, and controlled intensity.
