Alexander Wang – Beijing IN01
In Beijing’s IN01 mall, this Alexander Wang space channels high-concept industrialism through a raw but measured lens. Built like a hybrid between a fashion lab and a stage set, the store is immersive, kinetic, spatial. The material palette holds the tension: matte black, mirror chrome, and high-gloss black finishes define volumes that feel mobile and modular—architecture built for movement, not stillness. Chromatic contrast and sculptural lighting push the space further, shaping it through reflection and shadow rather than decoration.
It’s experimental but not chaotic. Theatrical, but never overwrought. A confident expression of volume, precision, and controlled intensity—Wang’s visual language, sharpened and reassembled
